But how do YOU know, as you're shopping, how those things are true?
That's where the tags come in! The Affinity tag always has the country it was handmade in written on it. Some products have "origin stories", some have fair trade labels. My favorite are the tags that have the makers name handwritten on them.
My hope is that these tags will help you feel connected to the makers, their lives, and their humanity, as well as be evidence for the validity of the claims "fair, ethical, empowering."
